Page 1 of 365 - 2015 Edition
Despite not being a massive believer in a new year changing you as a person, I have decided to put up a few goals for 2015, or New Year's Resolutions per se. I think that daily and weekly targets are much more achievable, as the usual "I want to lose weight and have better finances" resolutions don't tend to last long. New Year's can however, be for some, a good kick start.
I would highly recommend that everyone that reads this checks out I Heart Planners. My discovery of their website and ultimately their Get Organized Once and For All e-course stemmed from searching for Filofax inserts a few months ago. Every week you receive an email with a lesson and some take under 5 minutes, but it's crazy how much impact they can have.
1. As advised by I Heart Planners, choose a habit that takes under 5 minutes to resolve, such as making your bed, and work on it every day until it sticks.
2. Change my routine. Sometimes you can feel stuck in a rut and I think this quote sums it up perfectly:
“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”
― Albert Einstein
3. Stop getting so emotionally invested in TV shows/reduce the amount of time spent on Netflix. Let me know what tv series you are currently obsessing over, mine is The Vampire Diaries (and Gossip Girl, again).
4. Eat healthier and build stomach muscles to help with horse riding, but mostly, value my health more.
5. Get to University and Work Harder as a result. Stop revising for long periods of time and break it up into smaller chunks.
6. Blog more often and regularly, but for myself, not just about random rubbish that'll get more pageviews.
XOXO,

My Liebster Award Nomination
First of all, a massive thank you is in order for Georgia May and Rosie for the nominations ! The Liebster Award is a brilliant idea and I'm incredibly thankful that although I've not been blogging long, you find my blog worthy of a nomination :)
The Rules:
- Answer the questions sent to you
- Nominate 5-11 bloggers who have under 200 followers on Twitter (I may ignore that rule slightly)
- Ask them 11 questions of your choice
- You must let your nominees know that they have been nominated
Georgia May's Questions:
1) What is your favourite lipstick?
Hot Gossip by Mac
2) Which make up brand do you own the most products from?
It's a close call between Mac and Maybelline.
I love both but one is obviously on the pricer side than the other :')
3) Where does your style inspiration come from?
I take a lot of inspiration from Miranda Kerr and Eleanor Calder but I wish I could steal Kylie and Kendall Jenner's closets!
4) Why did you start blogging?
To be completely honest, procrastination during the summer holidays but I had wanted to set up a blog for a while to share my interests with others.
5) Who is your favourite blogger?
6) What beauty products are always in your handbag?
I swear by Vaseline, I couldn't live without it. I usually carry around a lipgloss and Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.
7) What is your favourite foundation and why?
I am yet to find the perfect foundation for my skin tone and colour, but a mixing together Mac's Matchmaster and Face and Body is pretty close.
8) Your favourite designer brand?
Mulberry hands down. The Bayswater is Number 1 on my Christmas List (I wish).
9) What make up product could you not live without?
Liquid Eyeliner. I have worn it almost everyday for 3 years and feel odd without it.
10) Favourite place you have visited?
Santorini, Greece:
11) Summer or Winter?
I prefer Winter because of snuggly jumpers, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, snow and Christmas!
Rosie's Questions:
1) What is the one skincare product you couldn't live without?
Clarins cleansing milk is like my holy grail, it is amazing, my skin feels like it's had a facial after using it.
2) Describe your style in 5 words
Simple, elegant, classy, chic and relaxed
3) Do you have any hidden talents?
Not unless multitasking counts haha! I can speak German relatively well, but I'm no way near fluent!
4) How important are brands to you?
Quality is much more important when it comes to makeup and fashion but I am partial to blogging trends and must haves.
5) First high end product you remember buying?
I think it was a dress from Coast, but I'm not entirely certain.
6) Do you have a signature scent?
Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf
7) If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I'm desperate to visit The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter in Orlando
8) Which season is your favourite and why?
Spring because of the beautiful flowers, milder weather and florals (Florals in Spring, groundbreaking XD )
9) What are your top 3 must-have items when travelling?
Spotify on my iPhone, Headphones and a good book.
10) Who inspires you?
Emma Watson is the first name that pops into my head, she's a beautiful, elegant, clever and my idol.
11) If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
I could love to meet JK Rowling/Cassandra Clare/Laini Taylor to discuss how they all managed to create their magical stories.
My Nominees:
My Questions:
1. Do you own any pets?
2. Who is your favourite band or musician?
3. Do you prefer high street or high-end fashion and beauty? Why?
4. What is your favourite book?
5. What is your favourite thing to blog about?
6. What is your dream holiday destination?
7. Do you have any interesting hobbies other than blogging?
8. What has been your biggest achievement in life, so far?
9. If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be?
10. What is your dream job?
11. What/who inspires you?

Mini Jewellery Haul: Primark and Lvndr
I've really been loving Primark at the moment and popped into the Chester store with the intentions of purchasing the gorgeous baby blue coat I've been seeing all over the internet recently. Unfortunately, the only sizes they had were way too big :(
However, I snapped up some amazing jewellery pieces which were super cheap too!
